My role involves translating UX design / wireframes from Adobe XD into code to produce the visual elements of a Website or Landing page, using varying technologies.

I work as part of a supportive and closeknit creative team, working closely and very collaborative with our UX designers, client-services and copyrighter to ensure all project are delivered with client's approval, optimised, tested, and on time.

This requires building a reusable code base for future re-use, and liaising with internal and external stakeholders concerning projects and building a good stakeholders relationship with active communication.

Mentor and Organiser
January 2018 - Current

I am someone that likes to get involved because I have a genuine commitment to social impact, so being able to help support people new to coding and developing is something I enjoy and I do in my free time, and I enjoy mentoring those that reach out to me for help.

I was invited to the join the Free-code-camp Manchester meet-up as an organiser in January due to my contribution to the group.

Fundraising
2016 - Dec 2017

I organised Christmas Jumper day last Christmas with my co-workers and was able to raise over £200 for Save the children.

At the Co-op, I have been involved in a few community projects and fundraising. In 2016, I organize and lead a massive clean-up in Boggart Hole Park, which also made the local paper. I also organized a fundraising 'Charity Shop' event in 1 Angel Square which raise over £700. And in October 2016, I was part of Team Droylsden Co-op Apprenticeship challenge, where we were the winner of the ‘greatest increase in shop takings’.

While in University I volunteered in a local charity shop for animals within my first two years, which I really enjoyed, and I was able to learn a lot about the local community.
